Aline, what needs restocking at the Campinas warehouse?

Four items are below the reorder point in the main warehouse at Filial Campinas. For the hex bolt M8, Matriz São Paulo has 9.500 units and stays above the reorder point after sending 2.000, so I prepared transfer 0217 for 2.000 units. The other 3 items went to Bruno’s purchasing list. The transfer is waiting for someone in inventory to complete it.

Awaiting completion
Illustrative example.

Checks the receipt against the purchase order, item by item, and flags what doesn’t match

Alerts when a product falls below the reorder point and passes the list to Bruno for quotes

Prepares transfers between warehouses, at headquarters and the branches

Organizes the stock count and prepares the adjustment for each discrepancy

Converts purchase and sales units using each product’s factor

Products and units

Buy by the box, sell by the unit.

Each product has a category, barcode, cost and sale price, unit of measure, and its own stock limits. Units have a conversion factor: receiving 4 boxes of 500 units becomes 2.000 units in stock.

Warehouses and stock movements

Stock in, stock out, transfers, and adjustments, each with an owner.

Each company and branch has its own warehouses: main, in-transit, returns, or virtual, with address and contact. Every stock movement has a status and the name of whoever completed it.

Complete stock movements

Stock in, stock out, and transfers only count when someone on the team with inventory access completes them. The system records who completed them and when.

Adjust the balance

An inventory adjustment requires a reason and is completed by the person responsible for inventory. Aline flags the discrepancy; your team decides the correction.

Set the limits

Minimum, maximum, and reorder point are set by your team, product by product. Aline alerts, and the purchase goes for approval by the person responsible for purchasing.
